Ajinkya Rahane has made history by becoming the 11th player to participate in 200 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This milestone was achieved during a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens in IPL 2026.

Since his IPL debut in 2008 with the Mumbai Indians, Rahane has consistently performed at a high level. Prior to this milestone match, he accumulated 5,099 runs in 199 matches, with an average of about 30, including 2 centuries and 34 fifties.
