CCPA Takes Action Against Restaurants for Illegal Service Charges

Investigations revealed that several restaurants, including Cafe Blue Bottle in Patna and China Gate Restaurant Pvt Ltd (Bora Bora) in Mumbai, were automatically charging a 10% service charge. As a result of these findings, penalties have been enforced.
