According to sources, Congress plans to institutionalize “training” by establishing dedicated training departments in every state. Empowering District Congress Committees

This initiative aligns with the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) strategy to empower District Congress Committees (DCC). Through the “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan,” the AICC plans to implement centrally directed appointments for DCC presidents, thereby strengthening the party’s local leadership.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has long advocated for an ideological battle against rivals like the BJP. The newly formed AICC training department, led by his confidant Sachin Rao, will prioritize political education for party workers. Rao has previously conceptualized several fellowships aimed at enhancing political acumen among Congress members.

Legal Preparedness: Rapid Response Force

In addition to educational initiatives, Congress is setting up a “Rapid Response Force” to tackle legal challenges posed by political adversaries. This effort will involve shortlisting five competent lawyers in each state to provide swift legal assistance when required. The initiative is spearheaded by the AICC’s legal, human rights, and RTI department, chaired by Abhishek Singhvi.
