A Heartfelt Gesture in Remembrance of Asha Bhosle

In a touching tribute following the passing of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, Karan Johar’s production house has announced that the release of the title track for its upcoming film ‘Chand Mera Dil’ will be postponed by one day. Originally set to debut on April 13—coinciding with Asha Bhosle’s final rites in Mumbai—the decision reflects a deep respect for the music icon.

‘Chand Mera Dil’ Title Track Release Delayed

The production house made the announcement shortly after the news of Asha Bhosle’s passing broke, stating that the timing of her funeral was the primary reason for the delay. Rather than proceeding with the promotional release on a day of national mourning for one of India’s most revered musical figures, Dharma Productions chose to honor her memory with this thoughtful decision.

    Asha Bhosle’s Legacy Remembered

In an official statement, the production team expressed, “In honor of a legacy that has shaped generations, and with deep respect for the passing of the legendary Asha Bhosle, we are postponing the ‘Chand Mera Dil’ title track release by one day. This decision has been made to reflect our heartfelt respect and remembrance for Asha, whose enduring impact on music continues to inspire many.”
