Director Aditya Dhar’s much-anticipated film, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’, is experiencing a slowdown after an impressive two-week run at the box office. Despite this, the film has successfully crossed the Rs 1,000 crore net mark in India, showcasing its commercial viability.

Box Office Collection on Day 21

On Day 21, the film struggled to maintain its momentum, failing to surpass the Rs 10 crore mark. According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ earned around Rs 7.90 crore, bringing its gross total to approximately Rs 9.46 crore. This represents the film’s lowest daily collections thus far, following a consistent performance above Rs 10 crore in previous weeks.

Week-wise Collections of ‘Dhurandhar 2’

During its initial week, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ recorded impressive earnings of Rs 674.17 crore. However, in the second week, the collections dipped to Rs 263.65 crore. As the film enters its third week, it has crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone, with its current total standing at approximately Rs 103.45 crore.

Overall, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has amassed a remarkable net collection of Rs 1,041.27 crore in India, securing its position as the highest-earning film in the country. On a global scale, the film has a total gross of Rs 1,653.67 crore, including an estimated Rs 1,246.67 crore from India and around Rs 407 crore from overseas markets.

Entry into Top 10 Highest-Grossing Films Worldwide

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is not only performing strongly in India but also making remarkable strides in international markets. With a gross exceeding Rs 400 crore abroad, it is now the highest-grossing Indian film outside India (excluding China). As of April 7, it has made its way into the list of the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2026, a noteworthy achievement for an Indian film competing alongside global blockbusters.

At present, China’s ‘Pegasus 3’ leads the global box office for 2026 with a staggering USD 638 million. ‘Dhurandhar 2’, with earnings over USD 177 million, ranks as the 10th highest-grossing film worldwide, just trailing behind the Hollywood animated sports comedy ‘GOAT’, which has surpassed USD 185 million.

Previously, the film became the highest-grossing Indian title in its market and the first Indian film to cross the USD 25 million threshold in its region. It is now on track to approach the USD 30 million milestone.
