After a brief walk, Suryakumar couldn’t help but show off additional dance moves.

Recently, while co-owner Nita Ambani praised Jasprit Bumrah’s incredible bowling, Suryakumar humorously asked, “Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi, Jassi?” (Didn’t you miss home, Jassi?), echoing a line from ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. This elicited laughter from the audience, especially considering that Bumrah’s wife, presenter Sanjana Ganesan, had just said the same thing to him.

The sequel, released on March 19 in Hindi and various South Indian languages, has already surpassed ₹1500 crore globally. Despite facing mixed reviews, including some allegations of being ‘propaganda’, it has achieved immense popularity and impressive box office receipts.

Dhurandhar 2’s Impressive Rankings

‘Dhurandhar 2’ now holds the title of the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, following only Aamir Khan’s 2016 blockbuster ‘Dangal’. It ranks fourth among Indian films in terms of earnings, trailing behind ‘Dangal’, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. Whether it will claim the top position by the conclusion of its theatrical run remains to be seen.
