Overview of the Enforcement Directorate’s Actions

In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a search operation in South Delhi’s Sarvapriya Vihar, seizing cash amounting to Rs 5.12 crore alongside a suitcase filled with gold and diamond jewellery valued at Rs 8.80 crore. The investigation is part of a broader money laundering case linked to Haryana-based absconder Inderjit Singh Yadav, who is believed to be operating from the UAE.

    Details of the Raid

The investigation commenced with raids on Tuesday, acted upon by the ED, targeting a property associated with Aman Kumar, a suspected associate of Yadav. Bank officials equipped with currency counting machines participated in the operation, which led to the discovery of cash, luxury jewellery, and documents related to assets worth Rs 35 crore.
