    Overview of ‘Jana Nayagan’ Delays

Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, has faced significant setbacks, as it has not yet received certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The buzz surrounding this film is monumental, particularly because it marks Vijay’s final screen appearance. Filmmaker Ajay R Gnanamuthu has publicly expressed his support for the film’s team during these challenging times.

In a heartfelt message on his Twitter account, Ajay R Gnanamuthu voiced strong sentiments of solidarity with the filmmakers and Vijay’s dedicated fanbase. He stated, "Absolute misuse of power… Any film is not just about one person; it has hundreds and hundreds of people’s efforts and money invested for a film to reach the screens. All strength to the team; it’s a Thalapathy film and his farewell movie. We will celebrate it like never before whenever it releases!! Court Order Impacts Release

Reports reveal that the Madras High Court has reserved its verdict until January 9, coinciding with the originally scheduled release date of the film. Additionally, the court has mandated a review by a new committee from the CBFC.

The film’s producers appealed to the court after the CBFC failed to grant certification even a month post-submission. On December 19, the board recommended specific cuts and requested modifications to certain dialogues.

    Aftereffects of the Court’s Decision

As a direct consequence of the court’s ruling, all screenings on the film’s release day have been canceled. The advance booking option has been removed from ticket booking platforms. Despite this, many enthusiastic fans had already secured tickets, leading to sold-out shows at 5 AM, 6 AM, and 7 AM in several cities across South India, including Mumbai.

    More About ‘Jana Nayagan’

Directed by H Vinoth, ‘Jana Nayagan’ features an impressive cast, including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Priyamani. The anticipation surrounding the film remains high, and fans are eagerly awaiting its eventual release once the censorship issues are resolved.
