Amid the success of his recent films, *Dhurandhar* and *Dhurandhar: The Revenge*, actor Ranveer Singh made a low-key visit to Nagpur last Friday. During this visit, he met with Mohan Bhagwat at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters. The actor later paid tribute to RSS founder K. B. Hedgewar at the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir.
Low-Key Visit Surrounded by Tight Security
According to reports from Lokmat, Singh’s visit was kept under wraps. He arrived at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport around 4 PM, accompanied by a small entourage. The actor went directly to the RSS headquarters in Mahal, where he held discussions with Bhagwat regarding his film and also gained insights into the organization’s service initiatives. The meeting lasted approximately one and a half hours.
Tribute at the Hedgewar Memorial
Post the meeting, Ranveer visited the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh to pay his respects to K. B. Hedgewar and M. S. Golwalkar, the second sarsanghchalak. During his visit, RSS representatives shared insights about the lives and historical significance of these two leaders. Ranveer also engaged with various RSS functionaries and learned about the cultural body affiliated with the RSS, Chitrabharati.
Quick Exit and Speculations Arise
Following his visit, Ranveer returned to the airport and departed for Mumbai around 8:15 PM. The secrecy surrounding his trip has led to speculations, especially as *Dhurandhar* continues to perform well at the box office. Notably, Ranveer had previously sent greetings to the RSS on the occasion of Vijayadashami during its centenary year, expressing gratitude for the organization’s contributions over the past century and his hopes for its continued inspiration.
