Growth Marketer – Korea

Position Overview
20 hours per week · Fully remote · $18 per hour + annual bonuses

The Role

We are excited to announce the opportunity for our first dedicated Growth Marketer for the Korean market. In this position, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing our marketing strategy tailored for Korean students aged 16–24 interested in studying abroad at English-medium universities. Your main goal will be to understand how to effectively connect with our target audience and establish a strong presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development
  Create and implement Arno’s marketing strategy specifically for the Korean market.

• Content Publishing
  Write and publish blog posts and educational resources on platforms such as Naver. (A separate social media specialist will handle social media tasks.)

• Community Engagement
  Actively engage with potential customers in online communities like Naver Cafe and KakaoTalk, offering insights on English proficiency tests and Arno’s offerings.

• Relationship Management
  Build and maintain relationships with Korean content creators, fostering partnerships with affiliates, influencers, and freelance contributors.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency
  Native Korean speaker with strong written communication skills in both Korean and English.

• Content Creation Skills
  Proficient in English, capable of producing educational content and exam tips that require a solid command of the language.

• Market Familiarity
  In-depth knowledge of the Korean study-abroad landscape.

• Digital Marketing Expertise
  Strong understanding of essential Korean digital marketing channels, including Naver Blog, Naver Cafe, and KakaoTalk.

• Personal Drive
  Self-motivated and comfortable taking on various responsibilities while working independently.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
  $18 USD per hour for 20 hours per week.

• Performance Bonus
  Annual performance bonus based on individual contributions and overall company performance.

• Payment
  Payments processed via Wise in your selected currency (converted from USD at the current exchange rate at time of payment).

Working Style

This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere. We value a low-meeting environment, providing you considerable autonomy over your work schedule. You will report directly to Otto, our co-founder and CEO.
