On the work front, Mahesh Babu has begun shooting for SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film, Varanasi, following his involvement in Trivikram Srinivas’ Guntur Kaaram set for release in 2024. The film was launched with a quiet puja in January, and a grand official announcement took place in November at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film is expected to release during Sankranthi 2027.
