Arrests Made in Primrose Hill Stabbing of 21-Year-Old Filmmaker

Two men have been arrested following the tragic stabbing of 21-year-old student filmmaker Finbar Sullivan at Primrose Hill earlier this week. This incident has raised significant concern and prompted an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

Details of the Stabbing Incident

The Metropolitan Police reported that a 27-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder, while a 25-year-old man is in custody for allegedly assisting an offender. Both individuals remain under investigation.

Officers responded to reports of a fight on Tuesday evening, discovering Sullivan with fatal stab wounds. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Another man in his 20s was also discovered in the vicinity with stab wounds; fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.

Sullivan’s father, Christopher, has shared a heartfelt tribute, describing his son as "exceptional" and full of promise. “He was the most beautiful, loving boy… he had a very bright future,” he remarked. Christopher revealed that Sullivan had gone to the park to use a camera, a recent birthday gift.

With aspirations of following in the footsteps of his acclaimed grandfather, cinematographer Michael Seresin, Sullivan had plans to start a creative venture alongside his father.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, leading the investigation, stated that officers are working diligently to identify all individuals involved in the incident.
