Role Overview: Proposal Manager
The Proposal Manager will report directly to the Chief of Revenue Operations (CRO) and collaborate with the SVP of Federal Operations to ensure timely submissions of Federal and Commercial proposals for MSSP pursuits. Success in this role requires building strong relationships with sales, recruiting, business operations, and executive leadership in our global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the proposal team in preparing meaningful text and graphics
- Develop proposal outlines, workbooks, schedules, and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
- Maintain boilerplate documents, ensuring clarity between standard and customized content
- Report on proposal status
- Organize and facilitate briefings and templates for proposal-related meetings
- Manage our proposal content library
- Produce standard proposals and support larger/strategic proposals
- Provide graphics support for proposals and presentations
- Coordinate with project managers to address RFP criteria
- Participate in RFP strategy sessions
- Maintain marketing databases, master resumes, and project descriptions
- Draft proposals and oversee production
- Collaborate firmwide on best practices for proposals
- Assist in identifying teaming/partnering firms
- Complete all necessary RFP/RFQ documentation
Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with MSSP contracting in Federal and Commercial markets preferred
- Experience in cybersecurity and IT services proposals
- Knowledge of RFP, RFI, RFQ processes
- Strong business relationships within the Federal contracting arena
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create clear and compelling content
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe applications
- Strong project management and detail-oriented skills
- Technical writing/editing experience
- A proactive and dependable team player who can also work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism preferred

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $120,000 annually. UltraViolet Cyber maintains broad salary ranges to consider variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
