In a recent post on social media platform X, Varma stated, “Now that @AdityaDharFilms has EXPLODED an ATOMIC BOMB right under the film industry, what is shocking is the loud silence from the rest of the film industry.”

Varma didn’t hold back in speculating about the reasons behind the industry’s restrained reaction. He pondered whether the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has sent others in the film industry "so far into OUTER SPACE" that their applause cannot reach. Alternatively, he wondered if they were huddled in denial, whispering to each other, “It’s just propaganda… it will go away soon.”

He further questioned, “OR are they just paralyzed by the film’s sheer brilliance, realizing that whatever they’ve been making… cannot measure up?”

Varma cautioned the industry against ignoring the film’s massive impact, calling it a "DINOSAUR" in the industry landscape. He warned, “Isn’t it extremely unwise to ignore a DINOSAUR like Dhurandhar: The Revenge… BREATHING FIRE into your eyes with its BOX OFFICE ROAR?”

A Call to Action: Study the Success or Be Left Behind

Varma urged industry stakeholders to take the film seriously. He advised, “Please take Dhurandhar: The Revenge deadly seriously and study it… OR risk being buried forever in the graveyard of pre-March 19, 2026 cinema.”

While notable figures such as Rajinikanth, SS Rajamouli, and Alia Bhatt have praised the film and Ranveer Singh’s performance, Varma highlighted that an extensive public celebration from the larger industry remains notably limited.
