Sonali recalled that she was specifically tasked with helping Ranveer feel at ease on set, as he was new to such glamorous photo shoots. Having already participated in bold assignments, Sonali was seen as the more experienced one. In a conversation with Filmi Beat, she reminisced, "I know Ranveer very differently. I did a pose with him, and after a few years, he did the same pose with Vaani Kapoor. Ranveer, at that time, was very sweet, very friendly, and nice. He was not like (imitates him) ‘Yeah’, full of energy, no. Actually, he was very shy because, again, it was a bikini shoot."

The Bold Photoshoot Experience

Reflecting on the atmosphere of the shoot, Sonali explained, "It was very bold. It was glamorous. He said, ‘This is my first shoot like that, very glamorous, and with a girl who’s wearing a bikini.’ He was so cautious. He was chewing gum, he was wearing perfume… I was chill, and even the photographer was like, ‘Sonali, don’t make him conscious because you are okay, but he’s a little nervous. Please make him comfortable.’"

A Humorous Moment on Set

Sonali highlighted the stark contrast between Ranveer’s personality back then and his flamboyant public persona today. Recalling an amusing moment from the shoot, she noted that he expressed his nerves: "You know, Sonali, it’s my first shoot. You know, I’m wearing clothes." She couldn’t help but laugh, responding, “Yeah, you are wearing clothes, what are you nervous about?” Interestingly, he later replicated the same pose with Vaani Kapoor.
