Job Title: Curam Business Analyst

Client: DC Government

Location: Washington, D.C. (Remote)

Job Description

The Curam Business Analyst will play a crucial role within the DCAS Team, taking ownership of platform-related issues while demonstrating initiative and critical thinking to effectively resolve problems and challenges.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience with the Cúram Global Income Support and HealthCare Reform Business Application Suite.
  • Strong background in data analysis and data presentation.
  • Experience in planning and leading Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and creating functional design documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of design and development concepts, familiarity with design patterns, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong ethical foundation with a commitment to honesty, integrity, and accountability.
  • Collaborative spirit, team-oriented, and a desire to support others’ success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide status reporting, quality assurance monitoring, and ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Review and prioritize production environment defects and manage the backlog.
  • Validate deliverables submitted by vendors.
  • Conduct data analysis and create metrics for all CSL tickets raised by end customers.
  • Oversee quality control of all technical workstreams.
  • Define and maintain end-to-end processes for functional batch executions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for transparency, compliance, and knowledge management.
  • Draft standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare technical presentations for the team.
  • Provide system analysis, development, and production support.
  • Design functional approaches to customize the Cúram Business Application Suite.
  • Lead testing, training, and customer support activities post-implementation.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to define project scope.
  • Participate in systems and gap analysis.
  • Produce client-approved deliverables, including functional requirements, training materials, and test plans.
  • Support team members during development and testing of functional designs.

Contract Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
  • Develop technical applications to support users.
  • Implement and enforce standards and procedures for system design, development, and documentation.
  • Provide training on system products and procedures.
  • Perform application upgrades and monitoring of real-time databases and applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Ensure project life-cycle compliance with District standards and procedures.

This is a remote position.
