Joining our rapidly expanding Private Equity practice means becoming a trusted partner for our clients. As a Managing Director at CrossCountry Consulting, you’ll leverage your experience and insights to deliver customized, integrated solutions that address today’s challenges and establish a foundation for future success. Your responsibilities will include client service delivery, business development, team leadership, and mentoring junior members while collaborating with our leadership team.
Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
Client Delivery
- Lead the Development of Services: Oversee the delivery of services for 3–5+ Private Equity sponsors.
- Financial Guidance: Advise CFOs and CEOs on FP&A operating structures and provide insights on growth and capital efficiency.
- Standardization of KPIs: Create SaaS-native KPIs and financial models to improve client operations.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Implement driver-based planning and develop board-ready reporting packages.
- System Implementation: Guide clients in implementing FP&A systems like Adaptive and Anaplan.
- AI Solutions Development: Contribute to the creation of AI-enabled solutions while adhering to data protection policies.
Practice Leadership
- Team Oversight: Manage multiple delivery teams to ensure quality and risk mitigation.
- Business Development: Lead efforts to market services and develop new opportunities.
- Service Offering Innovation: Design new offerings tailored to meet sponsor needs.
- Visibility Initiatives: Publish insights and lead benchmarking projects to boost market presence.
- Talent Development: Recruit, coach, and mentor team members for career advancement.
Qualifications: What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 15+ years in professional services, with 8–10+ years in SaaS FP&A and Private Equity exposure.
- Proven Track Record: Successful history of meeting origination and expansion goals.
- KPI Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS-native KPIs and financial modeling frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading complex programs across portfolio companies.
- Insight Delivery: Ability to convey data-driven insights to C-suite executives and board members.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with a range of financial tools including Adaptive, Anaplan, and SQL.
- AI Adaptability: Proficiency in responsibly integrating AI tools into work processes.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 30%, depending on client needs.
