Your Role as Product Operations Lead

As the Product Operations Lead, you will design, manage, and implement operational cadences that support our Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams. Your focus will be on equipping them with the necessary tools, practices, and insights to enhance their decision-making speed and maximize the performance and impact of our products. What You’ll Do

• Design and Own Operating Rhythms and Tooling – Create effective cadences (roadmap reviews, product councils, launches), workflows, and tools that facilitate swift decision-making across Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Create Visibility and Minimize Overhead – Focus on automating self-service data insights that enhance company awareness of PDE execution and product performance, negating the need for PMs to waste time on status updates.
• Solve Operational Gaps – Identify and resolve coordination issues, unclear decision-making processes, and strategic initiatives at risk of falling through the cracks.
• Scale Best Practices Company-Wide – Collaborate with operations leads across various functions to elevate coordination and execution beyond the PDE team.

Who You Are

You Bring Product Operations Expertise

• Experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Management Consulting, or Strategy & Operations in a B2B setting.
• A deep understanding of effective operating cadences and a commitment to continuous improvement.

You’re Analytically Sharp

• Proven ability to lead analytical efforts for cross-functional projects that have shaped product or strategic decisions.
• Skilled in hypothesizing from ambiguous data, designing measurement instruments, and translating insights for various stakeholders (PMs, executives, engineers).

You Influence Without Ownership

• Experienced in driving alignment among diverse stakeholders, from technical individual contributors to executives.
• Comfortable facilitating decisions in group settings and managing change when not in a decision-making capacity.

You’re a Self-Starter Who Builds

• Capable of managing programs end-to-end, thriving in environments with incomplete information.
• Results-oriented with sharp prioritization skills, adept at distinguishing between building infrastructure and maintaining scrappy processes.
• Passionate about building from the ground up rather than merely maintaining existing systems.

Additional Qualifications

• Background in consulting coupled with 1-2 years of Product Management experience, blending strategic frameworks with product execution.
• Startup or founder experience, demonstrating the ability to create from scratch with limited resources.
• Technical analytical skills such as SQL or data modeling to independently explore data.
• Familiarity with developer platforms, API infrastructures, or B2B technical products for quicker ramp-up on Apollo’s domain.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
