Your Role: Manager of Product Development

As a Manager of Product Development at C1, you will lead small, high-ownership engineering teams tasked with building and shipping features that propel our product forward. You will oversee execution, quality, and delivery—guiding teams from concept to production to create exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing small engineering teams focused on product feature development.
• Driving execution from concept to production to deliver impactful features on schedule.
• Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams to define clear goals and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Empowering engineers with end-to-end ownership of their services, fostering accountability and craftsmanship.
• Managing hiring and team-building efforts to scale C1’s product development for long-term success.
• Shaping team structure and ensuring effective collaboration as the organization grows.
• Implementing lightweight processes for rapid iteration while maintaining product quality.
• Mentoring engineers and tech leads to cultivate their growth as technical leaders and product thinkers.

Who We’re Looking For

You would be an excellent candidate if you have:

• Proven experience managing product-focused engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of building, scaling, and retaining high-performing engineering teams.
• The ability to identify and develop talent, fostering a cohesive team culture.
• A history of delivering complex, high-impact features to production.
• Deep customer orientation and skill in translating product vision into clear engineering outcomes.
• The ability to balance speed and quality, determining when to prioritize fast delivery and when to focus on maintainability.
• Strong technical instincts for making sound decisions without hands-on coding.
• A willingness to thrive in a collaborative, high-growth environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
