About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Our AuthKit team is dedicated to building AuthKit, a comprehensive suite of UI and APIs designed to assist B2B developers in tackling identity and authentication challenges. Our mission is to create exceptional experiences for developers and end-users, facilitating smooth onboarding processes and initiating their enterprise journeys.

As an engineer on our team, you will prioritize developer experience and continually seek feedback to shape the products we deliver. We are looking for empathetic engineers who are passionate about creating exceptional software experiences using modern tools.

Specific Duties Include:

• Designing and engineering delightful developer and end-user experiences
• Understanding AuthKit’s market positioning and increasing product adoption
• Building trust with developers by delivering a secure and reliable product
• Engaging with customers regularly to gather feedback and resolve issues
• Collaborating with product teams and solutions engineering
• Working with leadership on innovative projects
• Assisting in recruiting future engineering team members

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5+ years in software development
• Environment: Familiarity with small teams in fast-paced settings
• Expertise: Proven track record in crafting polished UI/UX and API services
• Attributes: Intellectually curious, independent, and passionate about quality products
• Skills: Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
• Bonus: Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Postgres
• Bonus: Previous experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or a related field

Salary and Compensation

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $175,000 to $250,000. This does not encompass other benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, or paid parental leave. The final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

For candidates located outside the US, including Canada, compensation is adjusted in accordance with local market conditions.
