Role Overview
As a key player in our organization, you’ll bridge the gap between our engineering team, ERP partners, and the wider business landscape. Your daily responsibilities will encompass various critical functions.
Roadmap & Strategy
Take ownership of the product roadmap from start to finish. Prioritize features and integrations based on partner needs, customer feedback, and business impact. Clearly communicate the “what,” “why,” and “when” to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
ERP Partner Management
Serve as Payra’s primary liaison with ERP companies. Your role will involve managing partner portals, developer programs, certification processes, and co-selling initiatives. Build and nurture strong relationships with partner product and technical teams, while keeping up-to-date with each ERP ecosystem’s release cycles, API changes, and marketplace requirements.
Unblocking Engineering
Handle the business and partnership aspects of working within ERP partner systems. This includes securing development environments, managing partner developer accounts and credentials, navigating approval processes, and resolving licensing or compliance questions. Your efforts will enable engineers to stay focused on building innovative solutions.
Cross-functional Coordination
Translate business requirements into clear specifications and user stories. Collaborate in sprint planning and backlog grooming alongside engineering leads. Define key success metrics and track performance post-launch.
Gathering Customer Insights
Collect and synthesize feedback from customers, partners, and the sales team to guide future development efforts.
Qualifications
Experience in a startup or fast-paced team environment, with a history of bringing new products to market from inception.
3+ years of product management experience, particularly in roles involving integrations, APIs, or platform partnerships.
While you don’t need to be a developer, comfort with technical documentation and partner developer programs is essential. Familiarity with major ERP ecosystems, such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or Acumatica, is advantageous.
A proven track record of managing external partner relationships and the ability to drive outcomes in collaborative situations.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach. You are someone who identifies blockers and tackles them head-on.
Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in an agile development setting.
