Who We Are Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who can be persuasive without being pushy. The ideal candidate quickly builds rapport and develops strong relationships with clients and colleagues. While prior sales experience is beneficial, a willingness to learn and adapt is essential for embarking on a sales career. Being a good listener and asking the right questions are critical skills for success in this role, though experience in retail or customer-facing roles is an advantage.

Main Responsibilities

• Research the target market and specific school districts to understand the roles, responsibilities, and needs of district cabinet members.
• Investigate the district’s strategic priorities and goals to understand what success looks like for each one.
• Utilize outbound channels such as cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn to establish relationships with district contacts and schedule meetings with our partnership team.
• Nurture warm leads from marketing activities such as events and webinars.
• Meet activity and meeting booking targets.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate contact and activity records in the CRM system.
• Build rapport with decision-makers and develop relationships with the district from the outset.
• Utilize appropriate industry language in all communications.
• Stay updated on industry developments.
• Timely follow up on any missed appointments.
• Overcome gatekeepers by building rapport to connect with decision-makers.
• Overcome objections and generate interest in our products through emails and voicemails.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Windows and Office.
• Proficiency in Google G Suite tools, including Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.
• Previous experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.

Communication Skills

• Written: Excellent written English (style, grammar, spelling); ability to write for different audiences and produce various types of communication, including emails, instructions, training documents, and presentations.
• Phone: Well-spoken and articulate with a professional, helpful, and friendly demeanor.
• Face-to-Face: Professional and confident in client meetings, serving as an ambassador for our company.
• Excellent listening skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Salary, Commissions, and Progression

• Starting at a base salary of $40,000.00.
• Quarterly commissions paid on each appointment that is successfully completed based on qualification criteria.
