The Role: Field Sales Representative

Overview of Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Representative, you will work under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager to deliver an exceptional experience to our partner bike shops. This role involves guiding partners through the sales process, managing orders, and handling returns. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a passion for mobility, eager to showcase why Aventon stands out in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the Aventon product line and proactively sell our offerings to partners.
  • Feedback Documentation: Actively listen to partner feedback during onsite visits and develop solutions to enhance cooperation and business operations.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong partnerships with bike shops and outdoor brands, achieving regular onsite visit goals.
  • New Partnerships: Identify and establish new partnerships while maintaining existing relations.
  • Order Management: Process sales orders and track progress to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Retail Support: Anticipate the needs of retail partners to maximize their experience and revenue potential.
  • Training: Provide ongoing training to partner teams, ensuring they possess strong product knowledge and effective sales tactics.
  • Revenue Goals: Generate revenue to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Communication: Relay partner feedback to leadership, contributing to continuous improvement within the B2B team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior sales or retail customer service experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of E-Bikes: Familiarity with e-bikes is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in office applications (PC/Mac), word processing, spreadsheets, and mobile devices.
  • Motivation: A proactive approach to finding new partners and driving team growth is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel 90% of the time.

Salary Information

  • Base Salary: $37,000 – $55,000 per year (base salary only; commission added on top).
