About the Role

At Freshpaint, we believe that exceptional engineering teams solve problems beyond mere ticket management. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Data to join our product-oriented teams. This role focuses on building sophisticated products using multiple data sources, driving success through innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven software products that yield measurable business results.
• Mentor fellow engineers on best practices in data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to meet data requirements.
• Participate in customer calls to understand user needs and impactful features.
• Design efficient data models that support product functionality.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in Software or Data Engineering.
• Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade data pipelines, proficiency in SQL and at least one data engineering language (Python, Scala, or Java), and experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills with a track record of working with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience as an early data engineer.
• Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Looker, or Fivetran.

Salary and Compensation

The salary for this role ranges from $181,000 to $213,000 annually.
