    ## Join Mortenson as a Design Phase Manager I

    Mortenson is on the lookout for an experienced **Design Phase Manager I (DPM)** to join our dynamic Solar group. This role requires interaction with staff at all levels, adaptability, resourcefulness, and proactive problem-solving skills. As a DPM, you’ll ensure that the owner’s vision is effectively translated into innovative design solutions and construction parameters, while showcasing excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. In this position, you may manage two projects simultaneously or focus on one larger project.

    ## Responsibilities of a Design Phase Manager

    As a DPM, your utility-scale solar experience will be invaluable as you engage actively with various stakeholders, including Engineers of Record (EORs), clients, and internal team members. Your main responsibilities will include:

    – **Managing the Design Process**: Skillfully guide and facilitate conversations, ensuring alignment among all parties.
    – **Connecting Technical and Financial Domains**: Navigate between project details while considering broader implications.
    – **Analyzing Risks**: You’re detail-oriented and can assess project contracts effectively.

    As a project manager at heart, you have the opportunity to play an integral role in shaping impactful projects right from the ground level.

    ## Location Flexibility

    **Location**: This position offers flexibility with any home base in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates who can work from our Minnesota HQ or any regional office.

    ## Travel Requirements
