Who We’re Looking For
We seek a Senior Frontend Developer who excels in building pixel-perfect websites using modern frontend frameworks. Collaboration is key as you work with our team to create elegant, high-performance, and visually stunning web experiences across diverse client projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Technical Lead to meet clients’ development needs
- Building and maintaining high-performance web applications using modern frontend frameworks
- Implementing responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces
- Integrating applications with headless CMS platforms, APIs, and third-party services
- Optimizing performance, including load times and runtime efficiency
- Architecting scalable component libraries and design systems
- Writing clear and concise code documentation
- Participating in project team meetings, including Sprint Planning
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback
The ideal candidate is friendly, easygoing, and flexible, maintaining high work quality without compromise. You should thrive in deep work modes while being open to strategic discussions when needed.
We highly value candidates with interests or backgrounds in design, art, music, food, or fashion, as they often bring a well-rounded sense of design and quality to their work.
Must-Have Competencies
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:
- 8+ years of experience writing high-performance frontend code, with a focus on achieving 95+ Lighthouse scores
- Expertise in Typescript and experience with Next.js, Nuxt, Svelte, or Vue
- Experience with headless CMS platforms like Sanity, Contentful, or Prismic
- Familiarity with industry-standard PaaS solutions such as Vercel, Netlify, and Firebase
- Fluency in eCommerce technologies like Shopify and Stripe
- Experience building accessible and optimized interfaces
- Strong understanding of modern CSS methodologies and animation libraries
- Experience with state management solutions and API integration patterns
- Proficiency in testing frameworks and a commitment to maintainable code
- Experience working closely with designers on design systems and component libraries
- Experience with real-time technologies and performance optimization techniques
Nice-to-Have Competencies
Consider these additional skills as a plus:
- WebGL & Canvas expertise for building interactive graphics
- Skills in data visualization tools like D3.js or Chart.js
- Full-stack development experience
- PostgreSQL expertise for managing complex relational data
- Experience with GraphQL or REST API design
- Client-facing experience to gather requirements
- Product management capabilities to define roadmaps
- Engineering management experience for leading teams and mentoring
Compensation Details
Our pay scale ranges from $35 p/hr to $95 p/hr, depending on seniority and team leadership experience. Projects typically last at least 8 weeks at 40 hours per week, fostering long-term relationships with our team members.
Interview Process
The interview process begins with a call to meet our team. Selected candidates will participate in a technical exercise to demonstrate their skills. This is also a chance to experience our work culture.
