Job Overview
Short Description: The Senior Trainer will design, drive, manage, measure, and report on all training activities related to the client project.
Position Summary
This position is part of the client division. The organization is seeking a Senior Integrated Eligibility Systems Trainer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training for the Integrated Eligibility system that supports Medical, SNAP, and Cash programs. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members and Organizational Change Management leadership to enhance training materials and schedules. This role is pivotal in building relationships with frontline staff and their management.
Core Responsibilities
The core duties associated with this role include:
- Analyze, design, develop, and test industry-standard training materials for ongoing improvements and new releases.
- Provide hands-on support for frontline workers and their supervisors.
- Deliver quality training with measurable outcomes.
- Conduct post-training assessments, including observations, and assist in establishing support tickets to identify training needs.
- Mentor other eligibility Trainers on best practices for adult learning.
Project Context
This position is aligned with the DC Access System (DCS) project.
Education and Certification Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Detailed Responsibilities
The Senior Trainer will also:
- Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
- Develop technical applications to support users.
- Maintain and enforce standards and procedures for design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
- Provide training for system products and procedures.
- Perform application upgrades and monitoring on real-time databases and communications.
- Troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Ensure that project life cycles comply with District standards and procedures.
Skills and Experience
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience. Required
- 11 years of experience in IT project management and analytical skills on mid-large scale IT projects, especially focused on Change Management. Required
- 10 years of experience in delivering instructor-led training. Required
- 8 years of experience with various technology and software, including Word, Excel, Access, and others. Required
- 10 years of expert knowledge in adult learning principles and practices. Required
- Ability to facilitate training sessions effectively. Required
- 8 years of experience in evaluating training techniques. Required
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of varying needs. Required
- 6 years of experience managing multiple priorities and critical thinking. Required
- 2 years of experience training the IBM Curam CGISS and HCR modules. Highly Desired
- 2 years of experience training integrated eligibility systems for frontline workers. Required
