The Opportunity: What You Will Do

• Develop Scalable Applications: Build highly scalable web applications for diverse customer needs.
• Design Innovative Solutions: Plan and create elegant solutions to accommodate a rapidly growing user base.
• Full Ownership: Take complete ownership of the entire engineering stack to deliver effective features and results.
• Collaborate in Agile Teams: Work closely with a small, dedicated engineering team in an Agile setting.
• Mentorship: Establish strong engineering practices while mentoring team members.
• Lead Offshore Teams: Guide and oversee a team of 3-8 offshore engineers.

Required Experience and Competencies

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of four (4) years in building large-scale web applications, with expertise in .NET, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• SQL Proficiency: Experience with SQL Server, including schema design, complex queries, procedures, and performance tuning.
• REST Web Services: Familiarity with developing and consuming REST web services.
• Agile Environment: Previous experience in an Agile development setting.
• Remote Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Cloud Services: Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, etc.
• CI Tools: Familiarity with CI tools like TeamCity or Jenkins is advantageous.
• Git Knowledge: Proficiency with Git and repositories like GitHub preferred.
• OOP and Design Patterns: Strong competency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and full-stack development.
• Security and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of application security and HIPAA compliance is critical.
• Testing Discipline: A disciplined approach to software testing.
• Problem Solver: Natural curiosity and passion for research and problem-solving.
• Team Player: Ability to thrive in a passionate, self-driven team focused on high-quality solutions.

Competitive Salary

We are pleased to offer a base salary range of $102,290 – $130,420, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Participation in our annual Success Sharing bonus program is also available, contingent on company performance. Final salary offers will be based on your skills, education, and experience, with an emphasis on pay equity.
