Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has recently launched a sharp critique against Aaditya Thackeray, a leader from the rival Shiv Sena (UBT) faction. In a statement to ANI, she accused Thackeray of harboring "regressive thoughts," claiming that he is aiming to undermine the progressive politics of Mumbai.

Allegations of Undermining Mumbai

In her remarks, Shaina NC pointed out specific incidents, such as Aaditya Thackeray’s induction of Rashid Mamu and his collaboration with Umar Khalid during a protest at the Gateway. She remarked, "They are plotting to turn Mumbai into Mamdani, but we will never let that happen. We are here for progressive politics while they are here for regressive thoughts."

Aaditya Thackeray did not hold back, retaliating against the Mahayuti government in a post on X. He accused them of attempting to "falsely steal credits" for key projects, including the Mumbai coastal road and a statue honoring his father, Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.

In his post, Thackeray remarked, "Looking at these shameless ones, you realize how much of a fraud someone can be." He asserted that the design and installation of the statue were entirely the efforts of Uddhav Thackeray, emphasizing that even the costs associated were covered by Uddhavsaheb.

Aaditya Thackeray further commented, "But a thief is a thief. They can never go straight." His remarks were directed at the ruling Mahayuti government amid an ongoing political rivalry between different factions of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.
