Your Role and Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for your organization.
- Handle procurement of goods and services used by the company.
- Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, and availability.
- Approve purchases, solicit bids, and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Guide staff on resolving issues related to undelivered goods.
- Instruct staff on negotiation and administration of contracts.
- Collaborate with staff and vendors on defective goods and corrective actions.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- 2+ years of finance-related experience.
Bonus Skills that Set You Apart
If you have the following, it’s a plus:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to build interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and technical data.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
- Familiarity with supply chain management and relevant software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Compensation and Opportunities
Salary ranges from $85,000 – $125,000 annually. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on numerous factors, including office location, role, skill set, and experience level. We accept applications on an ongoing basis, with no fixed deadline to apply.
