Overview of the Internship
We are seeking a Video Content Design Intern to assist in the creation and maintenance of customer-facing educational videos. In this role, you will collaborate with content designers, multimedia partners, and cross-functional teams to update, organize, and publish video tutorials and learning materials on Dropbox’s educational platforms.
Internship Responsibilities
You will engage in projects that ensure our video library is accurate, user-friendly, and scalable. This hands-on opportunity will allow you to learn how educational content is planned, produced, reviewed, and maintained for a global audience. You’ll acquire valuable skills in video editing, visual storytelling, and project coordination while navigating established production workflows.

Internship Duration
For Summer 2026, we are offering two start dates, leading to a 12-week internship:
- May 26 – August 14, 2026
- June 30 – September 18, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Support the creation, updating, and publishing of educational video and multimedia content.
- Scripting and Editing: Assist in scripting, editing, organizing, and preparing learning materials for multiple platforms.
- Workflow Adherence: Learn and adhere to established production workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Content Library Maintenance: Help maintain and organize a centralized library of customer education content, ensuring timely updates and reviews.
- Feedback Incorporation: Participate in content reviews and integrate feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Quality Assurance: Support content quality and scalability initiatives, including audits to identify outdated or duplicate resources.
- Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking content performance and engagement metrics, contributing insights for future improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in Multimedia, Communications, Film, Design, Marketing, Education, or a related field (completion expected by Spring 2028).
- Interest in content creation, visual storytelling, and digital media.
- Basic experience in video or digital content creation through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with video or social platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Understanding of how titles, thumbnails, and descriptions influence video engagement.
- Curiosity about how AI tools or automation can aid content creation workflows.
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to follow established guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with video editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, including basic cuts and audio cleanup.
- Experience creating screen recordings or instructional videos with tools like Loom.
- Familiarity with preparing content for review and publication.
- Comfort with collaboration and project management tools.
- Willingness to contribute ideas for improving video clarity, engagement, or organization.
Compensation
Canada Pay Range
The compensation for this intern position in Canada ranges from $1 to $1 CAD.
