Position Overview

As a Staff Technical Product Manager for Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our core cloud infrastructure platform. This role is essential for ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. A comprehensive understanding of cloud services and enterprise IT environments is crucial, along with outstanding product leadership skills to deliver world-class solutions. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Infrastructure teams on key cloud capacity enablement and management programs.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and Prioritize: Establish and prioritize the product vision and roadmap for our multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.

Technical Leadership

• Collaborate: Work with engineering teams to organize and prioritize testing efforts for new cloud deployments.

Stakeholder Management

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across engineering, sales, and marketing to understand their needs and drive execution.
• Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a communication strategy to provide visibility on program progress, including presentations to executive leadership.

Migration Support

• Engagement with Customers: Collaborate with enterprise clients to understand their cloud migration needs, working with the Professional Services team and engineering leadership to create migration plans.

Feature Definition

• Technical Requirements: Gather technical requirements and create detailed roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features.

Performance Metrics

• KPI Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and showcase delivered value.

Risk Mitigation

• Proactive Identifications: Identify, resolve, and mitigate risks that could impact program scope, schedule, and quality.

Technical Expertise Requirements

• Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally acquired from a major Cloud Service Provider (CSP) like Microsoft, Google, or AWS.
• Cloud-Native Environments: Familiarity with cloud-native products/services, AI/ML infrastructure, and technologies like Kubernetes, API integration, and Terraform.
• Program Management Tools: Expertise in tools like Jira or Smartsheet, guiding engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• High-Impact Programs: Experience with impactful cloud infrastructure programs, including cluster/capacity setup and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years in technical program management or product management focused on large-scale engineering programs.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Communication Proficiency: Exceptional spoken and written communication skills, adept at presenting to executive audiences.
• Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic and tactical thinking abilities, thriving in ambiguous environments.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant product management or technical certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Microsoft Certified, CISSP) preferred.

This role is remote in Turkey. Candidates must be located in and authorized to work in Turkey to be considered.

Language Requirements

JumpCloud operates in over 15 countries, and English is our primary language for internal business. Interviews and screening will be conducted mainly in English. Fluency in English is required, with additional language requirements noted in the job description.
