About the Role: Join Our Data Team
We’re looking for individuals with diverse expertise to join our data team as AI Trainers. In this role, you will be directly involved in improving the accuracy and performance of our multimodal models.
Responsibilities: Key Duties
- Annotate text transcripts based on audio content to support various aspects of game design, such as dialogues, quests, character interactions, and scenes.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in the data across various dimensions to optimize players’ gaming experience.
- Recognize nuanced expressions of a wide array of emotional tones and inflections.
- Annotate and tag model responses against our evaluation rubrics to improve dialogue and overall interactions for the best user experience.
- Collaborate with our leads to develop state-of-the-art automatic speech recognition models and more.
About You: Ideal Candidate Profile
- Native or highly fluent in conversational English, with the ability to accurately transcribe a broad range of accents, including slang/colloquialisms.
- A passion for gaming, particularly experience in narrative games.
- Comfortable working in a fun and fast-paced gaming-centric culture with a hands-on approach.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
- Able to think quickly and rely on intuition and judgment in an ever-changing environment.
- Good communication skills, capable of providing and receiving feedback positively and professionally.
- Able to follow complex guidelines and apply them consistently with confidence and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, focusing on achieving consensus without sacrificing standards.
Nice to Haves: Additional Qualifications
- Degree and/or experience in the following fields:
- Media, film, video, audio, or narrative design/engineering.
- Creative writing, copywriting, communications, English, editing.
- Performing arts, voice work, or expressive presentation.
- Psychology, philosophy, or fields related to human behavior and thought.
- Previous experience with AI/ML concepts or data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
Compensation & Expectations
- US Hourly rate: $25 (varies based on role and qualifications). International rates may differ.
- Able to dedicate at least 20 flexible hours per week.
- Opportunity to work 40+ hours based on availability.
