Your Role as Benefits Manager
As the Benefits Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day administration, communication, and compliance of our global health and welfare programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, you’ll ensure our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and highly regarded by our diverse workforce. You will serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, offering expert guidance to employees regarding their total rewards package.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Administration: Manage global benefits programs, encompassing health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability, and wellness initiatives.
- Leave Management: Handle administration for leave programs including FMLA, Workersโ Compensation, and Paid Time Off.
- International Brokerage Management: Act as the main point of contact for global benefit brokers and local consultants to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all programs comply with relevant regulations and lead annual audits.
- Global Program Localization: Adapt total rewards strategies to suit local markets while aligning with corporate talent strategies.
- Employee Engagement: Create communication materials and education programs to help employees maximize their benefits.
- Data & Analytics: Analyze program usage and cost-efficiency to inform future strategies.
- Benefits Benchmarking: Participate in global benefit surveys to identify trends and recommend enhancements.
- Fiscal Oversight: Monitor monthly premium billings and assist in managing the global total rewards budget.
- Open Enrollment: Lead the annual open enrollment process, ensuring thorough preparation and employee support.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate internal processes for opportunities to automate.
- Escalated Support: Serve as the final point of escalation for complex employee benefit issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in benefits administration, with experience in global programs.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Workday HRIS and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- International Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of benefit-related regulations.
- Communication: Ability to clarify complex concepts with empathy.
- Soft Skills: Proven multitasking capability in a fast-paced environment.
