In Burlington, local authorities partially lifted an evacuation order for areas west of the north-south railroad tracks. In Sedro-Woolley, a Temporary Flight Restriction was imposed, urging residents to refrain from flying personal drones in affected zones.

Power Restoration Efforts in Chelan County

Following widespread outages on Thursday, crews in Chelan County worked overnight to restore power to thousands. Of the 13 reported outages that initially left nearly 11,000 customers without electricity, only 3,834 remained affected by Friday morning.

Emergency Declaration Signed by President Trump

On Friday morning, Governor Bob Ferguson announced that President Trump had signed an emergency declaration for Washington state.
