Yash Promotes His New Film ‘Toxic’

Actor Yash is currently in the US promoting his film ‘Ramayana‘. He recently shared exciting insights about his upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’. In this film, Yash portrays the antagonist, Ravana, in the Nitesh Tiwari epic, while ‘Toxic’ is set to hit theaters in June.

    Insights into ‘Toxic’

During a candid discussion with Fandango, Yash expressed his enthusiasm for ‘Toxic’. “It is a very ambitious film,” he explained. “For the first time, we have shot the film in English as well, making it very layered.” Yash further elaborated, stating, “While it superficially resembles a typical gangster action story, it delves into deep psychology and interesting aspects of human life, presenting a dark character in a unique way.”

    A Visual Feast for Audiences

Yash lauded director Geetu Mohandas and the technical crew for their innovative approach to the gangster film genre. “Working with the best technicians has provided a fresh perspective, and I truly enjoyed the experience,” he remarked. He hinted that ‘Toxic’ would not only be visually captivating but also leave a significant impact on viewers’ psychology.

    ‘Toxic’ Release Date Announcement

‘Toxic’ was initially scheduled for a showdown with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ on March 19; however, the release date has now been postponed. Actress Tara Sutaria confirmed the new theatrical release date as June 4, 2026, generating excitement among fans.

    Clarification on ‘Ramayana’ Collaboration

While attending the CinemaCon event in the US, Yash also provided an update on ‘Ramayana’. He revealed that he won’t share any scenes with co-star Ranbir Kapoor in Part One of the saga. “Interestingly, we both have never come together on-screen in this film. As you know, it’s a two-part film, and in the first part, I play Ravana, managing my own kingdom separate from Rama’s,” Yash shared. ‘Ramayana’ is set for a worldwide release on Diwali 2026.
