Your Team and Role

The People Operations Team

As a member of the People Operations Functional Team, your role will utilize both tactical and strategic skills to enhance organizational performance by developing, enabling, and retaining talent in line with DuckDuckGo’s core values. Key initiatives you will contribute to may include:

  • Restructuring the Performance Review Process: Enhancing scalability by pushing decision-making further down to functional teams.

  • Clarifying Accountability Chains: Establishing clear lines of responsibility across our distributed leadership model, including Career Advisors and Functional DRIs.

  • Creating Automated Work Summaries: Developing summaries to represent over 80% of team members’ work for self-reflection and evaluations.

About You

In your capacity as Director of People Operations, you will tackle complex organizational challenges using your execution skills, data fluency, and pragmatic approach. Your primary focus will be on performance systems, including our bespoke annual performance review process, mid-cycle check-ins, and company-wide engagement strategies that drive results.

Compensation

Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this role is set at $243,800 USD annually, alongside stock options. Notably, our compensation structure is consistent across professional levels, regardless of geographic location, and is transparent throughout the organization.
