The People Operations Coordinator – Global is pivotal in delivering a seamless, high-quality employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position acts as a key operational partner, providing timely support for employee inquiries, ensuring accurate data management across systems, and facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. With a strong emphasis on detail, organization, and service, the Coordinator plays an essential role in maintaining compliance, operational efficiency, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all People Operations inquiries via Jira ticketing, email, and other channels, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
Provide tier 1 support for employee questions, system user support, complaints, and verifications of employment.
Properly escalate tier 2 support issues to relevant People Operations team members or engage cross-functional partners as necessary.
Oversee People Operations onboarding tasks, ensuring data accuracy and timely completion of onboarding procedures and sessions.
Maintain the integrity of company HCM and third-party systems through accurate and timely data processing.
Create new job requisitions in HCM, coordinating with cross-functional partners as required.
Administer offboarding tasks, ensuring compliance and effective communication with departing employees.
Protect and secure all confidential information through appropriate controls and discretion.
Assist with compliance reporting and audits, including government filings and ad hoc requests.
Ensure employee files are accurate, organized, and compliant.
Support various People team initiatives such as compensation reviews, performance cycles, and policy launches.
Who You Are
1-3+ years of HR administrative support experience.
1+ years of experience with Workday HR.
1+ years experience with a ticketing service tool, preferably Jira.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of conveying HR-related information clearly.
International experience is a plus; HR support for North America and EMEA preferred.
Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, particularly with filters, vLookup, and formulas.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive problem-solver, capable of overcoming challenges independently.
